Note: Dormitory is not available for female runners.

How do I reach the venue?

Airport : Pune International Airport 30 km.

Railway : 21 km from Shivajinagar, 24 km from Pune Junction.

Bus: Swargate / Shaniwar Wada, Deccan Gymkhana

Road : Connected via Sinhagad Road; cabs, taxis, and auto-rickshaws available.

4. Race Categories, Start Times & Cut-offs

Note : Pre-qualification events must be completed after June 1, 2024, and a certificate
must be provided.

What are the reporting times and are delays allowed?

Reporting times are 45 minutes before the Start time for each categories. All flag-offs will be on time. No late start will be allowed for safety reasons. Race directors decision will be final and binding.

What kind of terrain can I expect?

Rolling hills, mostly tarred roads, with an 11 km stretch of village roads. Barefoot-friendly except for the village section.

Can I change my race distance after registering?

Yes, contact the organizers via email or Instagram before October 31, 2026.

Are there pacers?

No, pacers are not provided for any category.

Is there a way to integrate the route into my Garmin?

Yes. All race routes are available on Strava, and you can download the GPX file from there tosync with your Garmin or any compatible GPS device.

What are the exact intermediate cut-off times at each checkpoints?

We will have the following intermediate cutoffs for 55km, 75Km and 100Km.

55Km - 35Km in 5 Hours

5Km - 55Km in 8 Hours 45 Minutes

100Km - 80Km in 12 Hours 45 Minutes

What happens if a runner misses an intermediate cut-off time but still
feels capable of continuing?

For 55Km and 75Km, we may let the runner continue after reviewing his health condition.

For 100Km, we won’t be able to let the runner continue.

5. Registration

Where do I register?

What is the last date to register?

October 31, 2026

What are the eligibility criteria for each category?

25K / 35K: Minimum age 18 years.

55K / 75K / 100K: Minimum age 20 years and must have completed a full marathon in the last year.

Can I cancel my registration or defer my entry?

Yes. Cancellation and deferral are subject to the following policy:

Cancellation and Refund Policy

* 3 months or more before race day: 100% refund, after deducting applicable payment/registration processing fees.
* Between 2 and 3 months before race day: 70% refund.
* Between 1 and 2 months before race day: 50% refund.
* Less than 1 month before race day: No refund.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method, subject to the applicable processing timelines and payment gateway charges.

Deferral to Next Year

* The request must be submitted at least one month before race day.
* The organisers may request supporting medical documentation.
* Deferral is subject to approval by the Khadakwasla Ultra Marathon organising team.
* An approved deferral will be transferred to the corresponding distance/category in the next edition, subject to the event rules.
* Deferred entries are non-transferable to another runner.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

No. Registrations are strictly non-transferable. A registered runner cannot sell, exchange or transfer their bib or entry to another participant.

What if I don't participate after registering?

If you do not participate, the applicable cancellation policy will apply. Entries cannot be carried forward to the next edition except through an approved deferral.

BIB Collection

Where and when can I collect my BIB?

Venue: Shakuntal Hall, Ramnagar, Shakuntal Hall, Ramnagar, Bavdhan.

Outstation runners : On race day, 30 minutes before flag-off.

Is parking available?

Yes, ample parking at the venue; carpooling is encouraged.

Is there a baggage counter?

Yes, a baggage counter will be available for all at the venue.

Is there a baggage drop off available on the route?

Yes, baggage drop/pickup available for following categories at following locations on the route.
For 55Km at 35Km
For 75Km at 46Km and 53Km
For 100Km at 46Km, 67Km and 78Km

How many aid stations are there?

25 /35 K Every 2-3 km
55K First 33 km every 4-5 km, last 20 km every 2-3 km
75/100K Initially every 4-5 km, last 20 km every 2-3 km

Do the aid stations provide cups?

Water will be provided in 200ml bottles at aid stations. Electrolyte and other beverages will be provided in cups.

Are there washrooms available?

Yes, at the venue and along the route (see route map for locations).

Are food and refreshments provided?

Yes, the venue and on the route at scheduled times and locations. Breakfast, lunch and specific points based for different categories.

What medical assistance is available?

All water stations will be equipped with First Aid and Pain Relief Spray. Ambulances with doctors, physios at venues and key locations, trained volunteers. Emergency numbers will be provided.

Are there changing rooms, lost & found, and recovery/stretching areas?

Yes, all available at the venue.

8. Awards, Age Categories & Post-Race

How many award categories are there for each distance?

There are four categories for each distance:
• Men—Below 50
• Men—50 and Above
• Women—Below 50
• Women—50 and Above

How many podium positions are there?

Each category can have up to three podium positions:
• Winner
• 1st Runner-Up
• 2nd Runner-Up

Therefore, there are up to 12 podium awards for each distance.

Are there any cash prizes?

No. KU does not offer cash prizes.
The awards are intended to recognise and celebrate runners' achievements rather than create a financial incentive to compete.

Is there a separate Overall Male or Overall Female prize?

No. There will be no separate Overall Male or Overall Female award. The podium awards will be determined within the four age/gender categories.

What happens if there are fewer than three eligible finishers in a category?

The number of a podium positions will depend on the number of eligible finishers in that category. This means a category does not require three participants for an award to be given.

Who is considered an eligible finisher?

A runner must:
• Successfully complete the registered distance
• Finish within the prescribed cut-off time
• Follow the official race route and race rules
• Have a valid and verified race result

How will age be determined?

Age will be calculated as on the event day, 22 November 2026. For example, a runner who turns 50 on or before 22 November 2026 will compete in the 50 & Above category.

Will post-race photos and certificates be provided?

Yes, it will be provided to all finishers.

When will race results and photos be available?

Results will be available on a same day after the race. Photos will be available on a next day.

9. Essentials & Mandatory Gear

What gear is mandatory?

55K, 75K, 100K Headlamp, Hydration gear, Basic first aid, Mobile phone.

25K, 35K Hydration recommended, headlamp for early starters.

How accurate are the distances?

Measured by GPS; minor variations possible.

Can I correct mistakes in my registration?

Yes, contact organizers before October 31, 2026.

Is a mobile network available?

Generally yes, but some weak spots exist.

Can I preview the route?

Yes, route maps are available online at https://khadakwaslaultra.com/route-maps.

What is the official procedure for a runner who needs to withdraw from the race (DNF)? Who must they report to, and where?

Please report to nearest water station or route volunteers enroute.

If a runner DNFs, how will they be transported back to the start/finish area?

Please report to nearest water station or route volunteers enroute, they will make arrangements for transport.
